It was a hard week for me. I had a cold and in days like that you understand the huge responsibility of the photographer. You can’t take a day off, there are no sick days and no one can really replace you. Moreover, it was rainy and gray outside during the whole week. On Saturday morning I still didn’t feel well and  it was rainy and cold, but suddenlly the sky cleared and the sun came out. The couple was so happy and the bride started to dance and jump out of joy. I am glad that I was there to capture those happy moments.
After the ceremony the couple and I went to an old industrial neighborhood in Montreal. The walls of the old and ruined factories were covered with graffiti and we used them as a colorful background for the couple’s portraits.
I wish the couple the very best and a great honeymoon!

Let me introduce my beautiful wife Helena. We are married for 5 years but we’ve been together for 10 years. She promised to help me with the  editing of my postings.

I reviewed my old albums and I found my first photo that I shot when I was just 8 years old. I remember that only one frame out of the whole film was good enough for print, but nothing compares to the excitement I felt developing this image. The photo was taken by a  “toy” camera Smena 8m (Soviet Union).

Hi and welcome to my brand new web journal.
This is my first post and I’m so glad you stopped by to check it out!
I was thinking for a long time to start my own blog where I can post my latest photos and stories.
So many changes happened in my life. This is the second immigration in my life and it seems that many of the first difficulties are over. Business is going well and so far I have more and more projects to shoot. However,the biggest change in my life is my six months old daughter Emily. It’s so great to start my day with a smile of my little angel.
